Terms of use
These terms apply to Tappy, the app for Windows and Mac made by MulticoreLabs, and to this website. By using Tappy you agree to them.
The beta
Tappy is in beta. It's still being built, so features may change, and it may have bugs. Keep your own copies of anything important. You may use the beta for personal and work purposes, but you may not resell it, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
Your content
Your captures, notes and boards are yours. Tappy stores them on your computer; we don't claim any rights to them. You're responsible for what you capture and share, including respecting other people's privacy and rights.
AI features
AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information before relying on it. When you use an AI service through Tappy (for example by signing in with your ChatGPT account), that service's own terms also apply, and your usage may count toward that account's limits.
If you turn on features that let Tappy click or type for you, you're in charge of what it does: watch it work, and press Esc to stop it at any time. Don't use automation for anything unlawful, or in ways that break the rules of the apps or websites you use it in.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tappy to break the law, to capture or share content you don't have the right to, to harass anyone, or to harm computers or networks.
No warranty
Tappy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MulticoreLabs isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Tappy.
Changes
We may update these terms as Tappy grows. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the app or on this website if the changes are significant.
